Sasha is a very sweet 6 month old Akita/Husky mix with special needs. She is very timid in new situations and needs a patient family who will continue to work with her and socialize her. Once she is comfortable she is a very sweet, affectionate, playful and goofy girl. Her ideal home would have at least one other dog to play with and help teach her about the life of a happy dog. "Duke" is a Mastiff mix about 3 years old. Great with kids of all ages, men & women. Playful and affectionate. He knows some basic commands. He isn't good around small animals & chickens but gets along with all dogs. Kennels nicely but not sure about crates. He loves to go for car rides and has wonderful manners and very gentle with the potential to have great strength.

Due to a large confiscation by MatSu Animal Control, ADPR did an emergency rescue 5/7/08 in an effort to help relieve over-crowding at the shelter. The next 11 dogs are some of those rescued from the shelter.

On average, our adoption fees are $140.00 for pups 4 months and under, adult dogs are $120.00 and small breed dogs are $200.00 (CASH ONLY) these fees cover the cost of spay/neuter and care for our rescued dogs and puppies.
